Carlo Giacco is an award-winning Australian composer and orchestrator whose music has been heard on television, independent films, feature films, documentaries, commercials, and in concert halls around the world. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Carlo has spent decades using sound to tell deep, emotional stories for audiences worldwide.
With his debut children’s book, Carlo trades the musical baton for the camera lens and written word, bringing his signature sense of wonder to young readers. Driven by a passion for multisensory storytelling, he spearheaded character development and captured the book’s vibrant world through his custom photography. When he isn’t composing music or dreaming up new stories, Carlo can be found exploring the stunning Australian landscapes that inspire his work. He lives in Sydney, Australia.
